Bob Knight, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Harrison Edwards, Inc. announced today that the firm has signed on as a sponsor of Great Lakes Connect Broadband Development Conference. Great Lakes Connect will bring together industry and civic leaders from communities throughout the Midwest, a region where municipal gigabit-speed broadband deployment is catching on quickly.
This year's inaugural Great Lakes Connect is produced by the same team as Mountain Connect, the wildly-successful Colorado-based broadband conference that draws close to 700 from the United States, Canada, and beyond.
"Great Lakes Connect will appeal to communities and industry members who are looking to take action, learn new strategies, and collaborate on driving projects forward. We're very pleased to lend our support," said Knight.
Members of the Harrison Edwards team will be onsite to meet with communities looking to build stakeholder support to deploy Open Access and other gigabit-speed broadband networks, and to help communities market their new networks. Knight will speak at a community development session on building political will and making the case for project funding.
